This slingshot is made of high-quality plastic. It folds into a compact shape that can easily be carried in a purse or backpack. The flat surgical bands have a nicer elasticity than the tube bands that I’ve used in other slingshots. The slingshot comes with a plastic pouch that is optimized for metal ball bearings. The pouch can be replaced easily with a leather pouch from another slingshot.
The biggest disadvantage of this slingshot is the slow reload time. The flat bands do not tend to straighten themselves after firing as do the tube bands, so you will have to look down and untwist them with some effort. Even worse, sometimes one side of the bands will become tangled in the other side of the bands, leaving you more vulnerable to enemy fire or to the charging squirrel.
You can actually attach tube bands to the front of this slingshot instead of flat ones, and the reload time becomes even faster than a conventional slingshot, though the tubes I have tried aren’t as snappy as the flat bands.
